What to Wear
Generally for myofascial work, you should wear loose clothing. If work is done around the neck and shoulder area, women may prefer to wear a sports bra. Bottoms can be shorts, pajama bottoms or even a bathing suit as long as the material is very thin. Working directly on skin is preferred, but light clothing is acceptable. This work uses little or no oil. You may be asked to move around a bit and stretching is often incorporated into the work. You will be more comfortable dressed like you are going to the gym or a yoga class rather than removing all clothing as when going to a spa. A towel or top sheet may be added so you are not exposed or cold.
